The Parts Department supports the Service Department and our clients by offering an extensive inventory of auto parts and accessories for all of their vehicle needs. Core Responsibilities:
- Check in and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, documenting damages or shortages and contacting vendors to rectify any issues.
- Properly tag and store parts in designated storage locations.
- Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments and verify information against invoices or orders.
- Pull and prepare parts for shipment and determine appropriate shipping methods.
- Pull and stage parts for technicians.
- Assist with maintaining the appearance of retail displays.
- Assist with parts inventory management by maintaining shipping and receiving records, keeping bins and storage areas clean and labeled, and helping with routine inventory counts.
- Maintain organization of shipping materials and supplies and cleanliness of the parts department.
- Fill in for the Parts Driver as needed, delivering and picking up auto parts from other dealerships and/or vendors.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in shipping and receiving or a related warehouse role is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
- Must be a collaborative, helpful team player who follows directions and communicates effectively.
- Highly organized with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4pm working in a climate-controlled parts warehouse and retail areas.
