In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruiting support, onboarding, compliance reporting, and employee data management. Core Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment processes, including applicant tracking, background checks, MVR requests, and behavioral assessments.
- Maintain and generate HR reporting for the Director of HR.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Assist with managing and tracking employee leave requests, to include FMLA and Maternity Leave.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings, including drug testing, MVR verifications, and background checks.
- Prepare and submit required reports for internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
- Provide general administrative support and respond to ad hoc HR data or documentation requests.
Desired Qualification and Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role (HR or Payroll experience preferred).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and share responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and respond promptly to team needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude when working with colleagues.
- Comfortable using streamlined communication tools (e.g., Slack, shared calendars) to stay aligned and organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong technology skills, and adaptability with HR systems such as HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Hours and Work Environment:
This is a Monday – Friday onsite position at the Chapman Corporate Center in Chandler, AZ, with the option for (1) remote day per week after 90 days of employment.
