The Chapman Buying Center is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team!  In this role, you'll assist customers interested in selling their vehicles to Chapman Automotive—educating them on the process and supporting them every step of the way.  We're looking for candidates with a strong background in customer service, a passion for learning, and a drive to achieve results. Core Responsibilities:

  • Log daily activities in the internal CRM tracking system.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and text messaging up to 200 times per day.
  • Quickly and professionally respond to internet and phone inquiries.
  • Listen to and overcome client objections with educated answers about the automotive market.
  • Qualify potential customers and generate appointments.
  • Appraise and assess vehicle values in a professional manner.
  • Negotiate with potential prospects in an effort to acquire inventory.

 

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, in person and over the phone, with a demonstrated ability to think from the customer’s perspective.
  • Strong technical skills (typing, interacting with multiple software platforms).

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Hours and Work Environment:

Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 6pm, and occasional Saturdays from 8:30am to 1pm. Candidates can expect to work two Saturdays per month. This is an onsite role at the Chapman Buying Center located in Scottsdale, working in an office environment, communicating with customers online and over the phone, and occasionally outdoors when appraising vehicles.
