Job Title: System Support Specialist – Quality Assurance & Guest Operations

Location: Miami - Hybrid

Overview:


We are seeking a System Support Specialist to support IT Quality Assurance for Guest Operations applications across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT testing and quality assurance, with a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing test plans, creating and executing test cases, and validating the functionality of various guest-facing systems and infrastructure. You will also support inventory and asset management for port equipment and work closely with senior IT team members to ensure high performance and reliability of guest systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functionality, performance, security, and usability of IT applications.
  • Create test cases and scripts to validate software systems, including regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Identify and document software defects; partner with technical teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to set up and maintain appropriate test environments.
  • Support inventory management by assisting with procurement, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle management across ports.
  • Coordinate logistics for port-based equipment delivery and setup.
  • Visit local homeports periodically to support software pilots, rollouts, and live environment testing.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project testing
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with testing tools and defect tracking platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Bugzilla)
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, analyzing test results, and reporting defects
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with basic programming and scripting
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to Florida-based ports

Certifications (Required):

  • ISTQB or CAST
  • CompTIA Security+

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Advanced testing certifications (e.g., CMST, CSQA)

  • Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently
