Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering effective and successful client relations with key external partners, including PBMs and other key pharmacy vendors.   Representing the pharmacy team, ensure contractual obligations and negotiated deliverables are executed in a timely and efficient manner to meet or exceed partnerships’ goals.  Manage external and internal partnership relationships and deliverables through regularly scheduled meetings, conference calls and functions, while engaging the Director of Pharmacy Ops and other pharmacy leadership to deliver effective and successful client relations or develop new business for the enterprise. 


Responsibilities:

  • Provide (clinical and) operational support for sales and account management.    
  • Educate the sales and account management departments about pharmacy benefits, support new Account RFP, lead new benefit set-up for Pharmacy benefits with the PBM, and address any/all account management questions.    
  • Responsible for day-to-day pharmacy interaction with assigned accounts/plan sponsors and sales and account management personnel for pharmacy benefit and member issues.    
  • Use our PBM reporting platform to provide ad-hoc and regular reporting for assigned accounts/plan sponsors.    
  • Implement and monitor pharmacy installation and testing across the Enterprise.    
  • Serve as liaison to PBM to troubleshoot and resolve claim adjudication related questions/ issues, researching plan/benefit design, interface, new data exchange options and requirements.    
  • Facilitate and support PBM implementation meetings.
  • Manage ongoing Medicare sales questions and inquiries regarding copays, deductibles, etc.    
  • Manage development of Medicare marketing for 2026.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested, directed, or required.    

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 6 – 8+ years’ industry-related experience in high level account management (Required)
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines affecting the healthcare industry (Required)
  • PBM/Managed Care Pharmacy experience (Required)
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types and levels of audience (Required)
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) (Required)
  • Ability to manage multi-task operations/projects in a fast-paced changing environment (Required)

 

Pay: The pay for this role is $67-$70 an hour DOE.
