Position : Service Manager

As a Service Manager at Central GMC of Norwood, you will lead and oversee the service department to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, efficient workflow, and profitable operations. You will be responsible for managing service staff, coordinating with technicians, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the service department to meet company goals and customer expectations.
• Supervise and mentor service advisors and technicians to maximize productivity and service quality.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service work orders.
• Maintain strong communication with customers regarding service status and vehicle issues.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of parts and supplies required for service operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer loyalty and service revenue.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Prepare reports on service department performance and assist with budget management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and customers.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with automotive management software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
