Ford-Certified Service Technician

We are looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and Ford Certification (we will consider candidates working towards certification.) Day-to-day work includes completing assigned repair jobs and diagnosing any issues the vehicle may have.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & repair automotive components such as engines, steering, 
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to find problems
• Fix and maintain key systems like the engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, suspension, steering, and A/C
• Talk with the Service Advisor to explain what else the car may need and how long repairs will take
• Must comply with manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

• Ford Certification Required. (If you are working towards certification, you will be considered.)
• High school diploma or equivalent training 
• 2+ years as an automotive service technician required
• Previous experience at a dealership
• Strong skills in diagnostics, electrical work, and engine repair
• Able to use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment
• Willing to learn and keep up with new tools, technology, and repair methods
• Team player who works well in a busy shop
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
