Journeyman Technician

We are hiring a Journeyman Technician who has worked with transmissions. We are offering a sign-on bonus and vacation match for a Journeyman Technician.*

What You'll Do

As a Journeyman Technician you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. You'll work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. You will test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. In your role as a Techncian, you'll collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide the most accurate information for the customer.

Journeyman Technician Qualifications

• Specific GM transmission technician experience
• Experience working on transmissions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• ASE certification required with A-level qualifications
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Technician: $25- $43 per hour
Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts
