CareWorks Health Services is hiring Caregivers and Home Care Aides (HCAs) in Orange County, CA!

Looking for a flexible caregiver job where you can pick up available shifts around your schedule? CareWorks Health Services provides one-on-one, in-home care to clients throughout Orange County and is looking for reliable caregivers to join our team.

We have opportunities for caregivers looking for morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, depending on client needs and availability.

Position Details

• Position: Caregiver / Home Care Aide (HCA)

• Pay: $18–$23/hour

• Payday: Every Friday via direct deposit

• Location: Orange County, CA

• Care Setting: One-on-one care in clients' homes

• Schedule: Flexible

• Shifts: Days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and other available shifts

• Scheduling: Open shifts are communicated by text, email, or through our scheduling team

Depending on available cases, caregivers may have opportunities to:

• Pick up available shifts

• Work around another job or personal schedule

• Choose from different shift times

• Work morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, or weekend shifts

• Gain additional hours when shifts are available

Pay & Benefits

• $18–$23/hour

• Weekly direct deposit every Friday

• Flexible scheduling

Caregiver Requirements

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience

• Current HCA (Home Care Aide) number or willingness to obtain one

• Willingness to complete a required Live Scan/background check (if needed)

• Dependable and punctual

• Compassionate and respectful

• Able to assist clients with activities of daily living

• Reliable attendance and communication

HCA & Live Scan Assistance

If you don't currently have an HCA registration, you may still apply if you are willing to obtain one.

• HCA registration: approximately $35

• Live Scan: approximately $70–$90, depending on location

• Eligible HCA and Live Scan fees are reimbursable after completing 30 hours of shifts with CareWorks Health Services* (terms & conditions apply*)

Caregiver Duties

Depending on the client's care plan, duties may include:

• Personal care and hygiene

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Toileting and incontinence care

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Fall prevention and safety support

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Medication reminders according to the care plan and applicable guidelines

• Companionship

• Grocery shopping and approved errands

• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings

• Supporting clients with daily activities
