Chevrolet of Naperville is hiring an experienced, results-oriented Used Car Manager to join our leadership team! This is a strong opportunity for an automotive professional with a proven record in inventory management, vehicle acquisition, appraisals, and profit growth.
We are looking for a leader who can effectively manage all aspects of our pre-owned operation while developing a high-performing sales team and delivering exceptional customer experience

- $120,000.00-$180,000.00 earnings potential

You Will:
- Oversee all daily operations of the pre-owned vehicle department
- Acquire inventory through auctions, trades, and direct purchases
- Perform accurate vehicle appraisals and market-based pricing
- Manage inventory levels, aging, merchandising, and turn rates
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability
- Monitor leads, inventory performance, and deal structures to ensure operational excellence
- Establish accountability through performance tracking, coaching, and ongoing training
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-focused department
- Analyze monthly performance metrics and execute action plans for continued growth
You Have:
- Proven experience as a Used Car Manager, Sales Manager, or General Sales Manager in a dealership environment
- Strong appraisal, inventory acquisition, and inventory management skills
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, digital retailing tools, and dealership operations
- Ability to balance volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives
- Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- General Motors dealership experience is highly preferred
- Professional references required
