Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is currently hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to serve clients throughout Cumberland, White, Putnam, Rhea, Jackson, and Bledsoe Counties in Tennessee.

Position Overview

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical, in-home support that helps seniors and individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Our office is located in Crossville, TN. After completing your interview and orientation, you will only need to visit the office approximately twice per year. Clients are assigned within your local area whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including:
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping and errands as needed
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass background checks
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient attitude
