Maintenance Supervisor

An assisted living community is hiring for a Full-Time Maintenance position.  This position requires a knowledgeable, dedicated individual that enjoys working with seniors and assisting them to ensure their home is safe, secure and properly maintained.  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:  

• Oversee the general maintenance upkeep of the entire community
• Coordinate with the appropriate vendors for maintenance 
• Perform general repairs that no not require a specialize technician; repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors and fixtures, etc.  
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems
• Prepare rooms for resident move-ins
• Maintain Fire Inspection Book including ensuing fire drills occur as required
• Maintain facility log book (i.e. refrigerator temperature log, water temperature log)
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the building 

Requirements:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience managing the maintenance for a similar facility, complex, etc. is preferred
• At lease 2 years maintenance experience is required
• General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.  
• Excellent communication and organization skills
