Automotive Paint Prep Technician – Diehl Collision of Grove City

Diehl Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Paint Prep Technician (Paint Prepper) for Diehl Collision of Grove City.

If you have experience sanding, masking, priming, and preparing vehicles for paint in a collision repair environment, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare repaired vehicles and parts for refinishing
• Sand, feather-edge, and prime surfaces
• Mask vehicles and components for paint
• Clean panels and remove contaminants
• Assist automotive painters to ensure high-quality finishes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience as an automotive paint prep technician or collision repair prepper preferred
• Knowledge of sanding, masking, priming, and paint preparation techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced body shop
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
