Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide in-home assistance to our clients in Farmington Hills, MI. You will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by offering personalized support and care in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions as directed
• Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure proper care
• Follow all safety and care procedures to maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is an asset, but NOT required
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
