Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Romulus, MI. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with medication reminders and monitor client health as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
