Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in Hartland, MI. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help clients with mobility and exercise routines as prescribed
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
