Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential in-home support to clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisory staff.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform household tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
