Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide in-home support to clients in Whitmore Lake, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring safely around the home.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitoring.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and family members regarding client care and any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred but not needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and mobility assistance.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
• Must pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
