Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team in Howell, MI. In this role, you will provide essential in-home care to clients, supporting their daily living activities and promoting their well-being in a respectful and professional manner. 

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care, including laundry and meal preparation
• Monitor client health and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals closely
• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role helpful
• Ability to manage physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass required background checks and screenings
