Golf Shop Attendant

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the Golf Pro Shop operations and ensuring that guest service is the top priority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Direct golf activities on a daily basis.

• Display all merchandise in the golf shop.

• Interpret and impose course policies, rules, and regulations.

• Promote golf safety program.

• Assist with the maintenance of golf cart fleet.

• Perform day to day operations of the golf shop including opening and closing procedures.

• Perform shop sales duties including checking in guests and tournament participants, book tee times, and ensure accurate accounting of all transactions. Maintain key control.

•  Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests, verbally and in writing. 

 • Have a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to professionally interact with members, guests, and coordinators. 

• Act independently with minimal or no supervision.
