Modern Ford of Boone is hiring an experienced Senior Master Automotive Technician to join our high-performing Ford service department. This position is ideal for a Master Technician or A-Level Automotive Technician with advanced diagnostic skills who can independently handle complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

Senior Automotive Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced mechanical, drivability, and electrical repairs

  • Diagnose complex vehicle issues using factory diagnostic tools and scan equipment

  • Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake repairs

  • Follow Ford factory standards and manufacturer specifications

  • Document all diagnostic steps and repairs accurately

  • Maintain up-to-date certifications and technical knowledge

  • Communicate repair explanations clearly to service advisors and customers

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Follow all dealership and OSHA safety guidelines


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician

  • Master Technician or A-Level Technician experience preferred

  • Ford Certification a plus

  • ASE Certification a plus (not required)

  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and advanced diagnostics

  • Proficiency with scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service software

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dealership environment

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
