Automotive Body Technician

Carolinas Collision Centers of Wake Forest is on the lookout for a driven, detail-loving Automotive Body Technician to join our growing team! In this hands-on role, you’ll be a key player in bringing damaged vehicles back to life — from assessing collision impact to performing high-quality bodywork and paint refinishing. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and using the latest tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their best, this is the place for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspect vehicles to assess collision or accident damage
• Perform body repair work such as dent removal, panel repair/replacement, frame straightening, and welding
• Assist with disassembling parts and components as needed
• Conduct detailed quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and, when needed, with customers about repair updates
• Complete additional tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Candidates that are motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Some hands-on experience in auto body or collision repair (a plus, not required)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and repair machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn from experienced technicians
• Basic communication skills for team and occasional customer interactions
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings
