CarAdvise is looking for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on User Experience and Product Director to join our team. In this role, you’ll own everything product/app/UX related. You’ll help lead a team of designers and programmers tasked with creating outstanding personalized experiences for CarAdvise’s retail and fleet brands. You will be responsible for all aspects of the customer experience and will help coordinate actionable improvements to our web and mobile products.


The CarAdvise work environment is highly collaborative and requires excellent communication skills and a keen ability to build and foster strong relationships across the organization.


You must have solid experience in the software and digital product environment and skills managing user-centered design techniques, using data to drive design outcomes, and prioritizing work with multiple teams focused on various areas of our digital product. Most importantly, you love what you do and help share your passion within our team to create the best user experience across all user platforms.



  • Scope features, manage roadmaps, and launch plans to ensure constant improvement of the CarAdvise product user experiences

  • Promote close collaboration between UX development team members, product engineering, leadership, and other teams to produce high-quality modern designed app/web products

  • Lead UX and product experience to create innovative, simple design solutions that delivers measurable business value

  • Focus on quick testing and iteration of features to quickly launch each update or new feature

  • Coordinate with several internal teams to ensure smooth feature launches

  • Ensure tracking of bugs and issues by product for quick resolution with each partner team

  • Report and present to executive team and organization on key features

  • Provide clear direction and timely feedback to the stakeholders and teams to ensure we keep moving forward on schedule

  • Use a data driven approach including A/B testing

  • Maintain a forward understanding of design and technology trends and standard methodologies

  • Collaborate high-level strategic decisions to drive outstanding, innovative product designs, and user/product experience

  • Actively contribute as a designer on the team with your skills regarding advancing the product

  • Execute in a fast-paced and fluid environment


  • Director of UX/Product will be expected to present the vision, business plan, design, metrics and executional strategy at the highest levels of the company

  • 5+ years of hands-on design and product experience creating wireframes, mocks, prototypes, and related design documentation for consumer-facing web and mobile experiences

  • 5+ years of experience successfully partnering with development teams in an agile environment

  • 5+ years demonstrated ability building user-centered interactive designs

  • 3+ years of experience directly or indirectly leading UX teams and resources to deliver quality against deadlines; direct management preferred

  • A portfolio of past work that demonstrates the effectiveness of your design solutions in meeting user needs while achieving business results preferably in a software or digital marketplace environment

  • Experience working with offshore developers a plus

  • Knowledge of current UX design strategies and trends across app, web, and mobile platforms

  • Passion and experience working with engineering and product teams

  • Independent self-starter with excellent leadership skills

  • Attention to detail and follow-through on completion of business plans and projects

  • Excellent time-management skills, including the ability to work on concurrent projects and quickly prioritize competing tasks and responsibilities

  • Proficiency with leading design tools, including Figma, Sketch, and XD, Zeplin, Adobe products, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Deep understanding of digital customer journeys and how to leverage data and analysis to inform growth strategies

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail

  • Experience driving mobile app downloads

  • Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to successfully communicate across all levels of an organization both face-to-face and remotely

  • Experience designing for a global audience in multiple languages is a plus

  • Software experience preferred

Salary range: $115,000 to $140,000 depending on experience.
