The CarAdvise mission is to make car care a more transparent, affordable, and convenient experience for consumers, businesses, and small fleets. The CarAdvise platform allows users to receive maintenance reminders, compare prices, schedule service, review & approve services, pay, and store maintenance history all using their smartphone. CarAdvise partners with many large brands including Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, Shell, and USAA (just to name a few). 

 

THE ROLE

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for sales to corporate fleet clients throughout North America.  You will report directly to the Head of Partnerships and will work closely with the leadership team and other key stakeholders on larger more complex customers and projects. All facets will include initial outreach, providing product demos, reviews, ongoing support, and account management along with other important tasks as this business unit needs. This position is an opportunity and a chance to prove your skills as an all around sales professional, account liaison, and B2B driver.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, create, sell, and manage new business partner opportunities and continuously grow while building prospective customer pipeline to meet quarterly sales targets

  • Prospect customers in the small to medium sized fleet vehicle segment

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from reviewing suspects, to adding prospects, to finding a clients, to helping the customers and keep account contacts

  • Keep records of sales opportunities, activities, proposals, forecasts, closed deals, etc. in CRM

  • Report progress accurately to show increase of opportunity and customers

  • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with customer stakeholders (e.g. owners, fleet managers, service managers, asset managers, etc.)

  • Communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders by providing critical feedback to improve overall experience, product, and identify market growth opportunities

  • Building relationships and maintaining accounts with problem solving, reports, and other relation building activities

 

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working in a sales, account management, business development, or customer service position

  • Possesses a strong sales acumen and is willing to make pick up the phone and make a lot of calls

  • Demonstrated success in maintaining customers, building relationships, onboarding new customers, prospecting new business, penetrating new accounts

  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate technology adoption to end customers

  • Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail

  • Team player, willing to ask for help and provide assistance to those on their team and outside of their team

  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines

  • Ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization

  • Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with

  • Driven and passionate

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written

  • Comfortable with significant daily prospective customer interaction and the ability to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers by providing guidance and support

  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and a diverse team player with the ability to orchestrate sales engagements across a variety of multiple different customer stakeholders and industries

  • Your work style is systematic, structured, and goal-oriented and you find it easy to network with decision-makers and to present ideas and concepts convincingly
