Automotive Sales Consultant

Are you a people person with a passion for cars and a drive to succeed? Capital Ford of Lillington is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help customers find the right vehicle, create a memorable buying experience, and build lasting relationships along the way. Whether you're an experienced automotive salesperson or bring a strong background in sales and a willingness to learn, we'd love to meet you! 

What You'll Be Doing 

• Welcome customers to the dealership and create a friendly, positive first impression. 
• Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs, preferences, and budget. 
• Showcase vehicles, explain features and benefits, and help customers find the right fit. 
• Guide customers through every step of the sales process, from the initial conversation to vehicle delivery. 
• Negotiate pricing, present financing options, and confidently close sales. 
• Follow up with customers and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. 
• Stay up to date on vehicle inventory, product features, and industry knowledge. 
• Work toward individual and dealership sales goals. 
• Participate in ongoing sales training and development. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For 

• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred; automotive sales experience is a plus! 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in helping people. 
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed. 
• Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop lasting customer relationships. 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to manage customer information. 
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
