Capital Automotive Group is seeking a driven and customer-focused IT Help Desk Support team member to join our growing organization. This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day technology needs of our dealerships and operations, helping employees stay connected, productive, and supported. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, solutions-oriented, and enjoys helping others in a fast-paced environment.
***This position is based in our office located in Raleigh, NC and is not remote. Candidates are expected to work on-site at our Raleigh location.***
What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote support, or in person

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues

Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access permissions

Support Windows and/or Mac operating systems across multiple locations

Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures

Help implement security measures and educate users on technology best practices

Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support activities
-
Create and update internal IT process documentation as needed

Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues

Perform additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role preferred

Experience supporting Windows and/or Mac operating systems
-
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
-
Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions efficiently

Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems preferred

Knowledge of IT security practices and basic networking concepts
-
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, or similar are a plus
-
Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
