Capital Automotive Group is seeking a driven and customer-focused IT Help Desk Support team member to join our growing organization. This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day technology needs of our dealerships and operations, helping employees stay connected, productive, and supported. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, solutions-oriented, and enjoys helping others in a fast-paced environment.

***This position is based in our office located in Raleigh, NC and is not remote. Candidates are expected to work on-site at our Raleigh location.***

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote support, or in person

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues

  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access permissions

  • Support Windows and/or Mac operating systems across multiple locations

  • Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures

  • Help implement security measures and educate users on technology best practices

  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support activities

  • Create and update internal IT process documentation as needed

  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role preferred

  • Experience supporting Windows and/or Mac operating systems

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions efficiently

  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems preferred

  • Knowledge of IT security practices and basic networking concepts

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, or similar are a plus

  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality

  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
