Job Description

Buster Miles Ford is currently hiring a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our collision repair team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing high-quality body repairs on customer and dealership vehicles. This position is ideal for a technician who is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a professional, fast-paced shop with a steady workflow.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday No Saturdays!
Work Requirements:

• Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts

• Ability to Commute: Heflin, AL (Required)

• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

• Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and filler work

• Repair and align vehicle frames and structures to manufacturer specifications

• Prep vehicles for paint and assist in final finish work as needed

• Collaborate with estimators and advisors to ensure repair accuracy and timeline expectations

• Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment when necessary

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly handle tools and equipment

• Document all work performed in accordance with company policies

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a collision repair or body shop environment

• I-CAR or OEM certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Proficiency in body repair techniques, tools, and materials

• Ability to perform structural and non-structural repairs

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
