Job Description

Buster Miles Ford is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Spray-In Bed Liner Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for prepping truck beds and professionally applying spray-in bed liners to ensure a durable, clean, and even finish. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision, works well with their hands, and is committed to delivering high-quality work that exceeds customer expectations.

 

Job Type & Schedule

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours (some Saturdays may be required based on volume)
  • Pay: $18 - $21 per hour based on experience

 

Responsibilities

  • Prep truck beds by sanding, masking, cleaning, and taping surfaces to ensure proper liner adhesion

  • Mix and apply spray-in bed liner material evenly using proper spray equipment

  • Ensure clean lines, consistent texture, and high-quality finish on each application

  • Inspect completed jobs for accuracy and quality before returning vehicles to the lot or customer

  • Maintain and clean spray equipment, tools, and designated work area

  • Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Communicate with service advisors and team members regarding job status and turnaround times

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with spray-in bed liners, body shop prep, or auto refinishing preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact procedures

  • Comfortable working with chemicals, tools, and spray equipment

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
