We are hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. This position is suited for a highly capable technician who can handle advanced diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and a variety of challenging service work with limited supervision. Ford certification is strongly preferred, though qualified A-Level technicians certified by other OEMs are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Handle major mechanical repairs and general service work across a range of vehicles
  • Diagnose difficult mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Use scan tools, testing equipment, and manufacturer service information to pinpoint vehicle problems
  • Determine the proper repair approach and complete work according to factory specifications
  • Inspect completed repairs to verify the vehicle is operating properly
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and document diagnostic results and services performed
  • Communicate repair findings and additional service needs with Service Advisors
  • Work with other members of the service and parts teams to complete repairs efficiently
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and all applicable safety requirements
  • Stay current on automotive technology through continuing education, technical training, and certification programs

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ford certification preferred
  • A-Level certification from another automotive manufacturer will be considered
  • 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Master Technician certification is a strong plus
  • Extensive knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair methods
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with current automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Able to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and operate independently
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing for extended periods
