We’re looking for an experienced Master-Level Automotive Technician to join our service department. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled technician who can take on advanced repairs, diagnose difficult vehicle concerns, and consistently produce high-quality work. Ford certification is preferred, but experienced A-Level technicians certified through another manufacturer are encouraged to apply as well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete advanced mechanical repairs and general automotive service across a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Investigate complex vehicle concerns and determine the proper course of repair
  • Utilize professional diagnostic equipment and testing procedures to identify mechanical and electrical problems
  • Perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
  • Review completed work to ensure repairs are accurate, thorough, and properly documented
  • Enter detailed information regarding diagnostics, parts, and repairs into the appropriate repair documentation
  • Explain repair findings and recommended services clearly when communicating with customers and the service team
  • Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and other technicians to keep repair orders moving efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and applicable industry requirements
  • Continue developing technical expertise through manufacturer training, certifications, and ongoing education

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ford certification strongly preferred
  • A-Level certification from another OEM will also be considered
  • At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Master Technician certification is highly desirable
  • Advanced understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experienced with modern scan tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Able to work independently and manage repairs efficiently in a busy service environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended period
