As General Manager, you'll work directly under the President and Dealer Principal to oversee all facets of dealership operations. You'll drive performance across sales, fixed ops, finance, staffing, and customer experience in a role that's equal parts operational strategic, team leader, and business builder.

About Us: 

Broadway Ford, one of the fastest-growing commercial truck centers in the Midwest and among the Top 50 commercial truck dealers nationwide, is seeking a General Manager to lead our flagship commercial operation.

Our new Ford- Pro Elite Service Center (one of only 72 in the nation), opens this summer and will give us 56 service bays across a 9-acre campus. And with a rapidly expanding Mobile Service Department, 100+ employees by end of year, and $30M+ in inventory, this is a rare opportunity to lead in one of the most dynamic and essential sectors of the auto industry---- all while enjoying 8am to 5pm business hours. No late nights. No Sundays. No relentless retail grind. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide executive-level leadership to all departments (sales, service, parts, F&I, and operations)
  • Champion a high-performance culture built on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement
  • Align teams around KPIs, strategic goals, an customer satisfaction metrics

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure operational excellence in both front-end and fixed ops, maintaining efficient workflows and strong margins
  • Lead expansion of our Mobile Service Department and optimize the upcoming Ford-Pro Elite Service facility

Sales & Marketing

  • Oversee the commercial sales department including large fleet, municipal, and small business clients
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive customer acquisition and retention, especially in B2B segments

Financial Management

  • Own the dealership P&L: forecast, budget, and monitor financial performance
  • Improve profitability and cost-efficiency across departments

Team Development & HR

  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent across departments
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and support professional development

Customer & Vendor Relationships

  • Foster strong relationships with key customers, fleet accounts, Ford corporate, suppliers, and vendor partners
  • Represent the dealership in the community and within regional industry networks

What You Bring:

  • Proven success as a General Manager at a high-volume dealership (Ford experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of both front-end retail and fixed operations
  • Demonstrate ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations
  • Solid grasp of financial management, P&L ownership, forecasting, and inventory control
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, accountable, and self-directed
  • CDK operating system essential
