Broadway Ford Truck Sales  is seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Service Technician to join our growing service team. This is a great opportunity for an A or B-level technician looking for a stable, well-equipped shop with a strong customer base and steady workflow. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.  We work on light and medium duty trucks. Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and more 

  • Perform thorough inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns

  • Accurately document work performed and parts used in dealership systems

  • Communicate clearly with service advisors about findings, estimates, and repair timelines 

  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through Ford certification programs and technical bulletins 

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work area 

  • Support less experienced technicians and foster a collaborative team environment

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required 

  • Certifications: ASE certifications and/or Ford factory training preferred 

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of diagnostic tools, service software, and repair procedures 

  • Work Ethic: Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship 

  • Communication: Able to communicate clearly with both teammates and customers 

  • Team Player: Willing to collaborate and assist with shop-wide goals 

  • License: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record 

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
