  • 2–4 years of technician experience or equivalent training

  • ASE certification preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to stay up to date on evolving vehicle technology

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with the job

Job Summary:

 

 

The Service Technician inspects, maintains, and repairs vehicles in a timely, accurate, and customer-focused manner. Technicians are responsible for ensuring all work meets dealership standards and that customers’ vehicles are returned in excellent condition.

 


 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and warranty work according to repair orders

  • Keep Service Advisors updated on repair status and estimated completion times

  • Road test vehicles to confirm issues are resolved and performance meets customer expectations

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work station

  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures

  • Continuously learn new techniques and technology through formal training

  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and quality in all work

 

 


 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2–4 years of automotive technician experience or equivalent training

  • ASE certification preferred

  • Basic computer and phone skills; dealership software experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, and maintenance instructions

  • Self motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused

  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic

 

 


 

 

Working Conditions:

 

 

  • Work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor activity in an auto shop environment

  • Daily walking, standing, and lifting required

  • Must be available to work full time, including possible evenings or weekends as needed
