Occupational Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Contractor. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Requirements

• Ability to commute to patients home
• Ability to commute to cases in the general area of Hollywood, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Miami Gardens
• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• AHCA Level 2 Background check. https://info.flclearinghouse.com 
• Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in home health environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care that promotes patient independence and well-being.
• Availability to work weekends and short notice as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities in daily living activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily functioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Timely documenting visits.
