Nurses Needed 12hr shifts

Registered Nurse(s) or Licensed Practical nurse(s) needed for private duty case, SPANISH SPEAKING NURSES ONLY!!

Overview:

 BrightStar Care is looking for SPANISH SPEAKING nurses to provide in-home private nursing services for a male, Spanish quadriplegic.   Nursing shifts can range in hours up to 12 hour day and/or night shifts.   Nurses will be responsible for providing the required nursing services as well as helping maintain safety and provide continuity of care the patient.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments
• Be able to provide hands-on care
• Have experience with a quadriplegic patient
• Give medications
• Assess the patient to prevent skin breakdown. May provide wound care if ordered by the Plan of Care.
• Observe and report any patient changes to the Physician(s)
• Provide any necessary education to the patient regarding their health
• Able to have excellent written skills, and provide proper documentation in the patients records 

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license (no restrictions)
• MUST be able to speak fluent Spanish
• Certified in CPR
• Licensed driver with automobile that is insured
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision; able to adapt to each patient as their needs change.
• Empathy for the needs of the patient
• Must have excellent patience.
