As an Alternate Director of Nursing (ADON) at BrightStar of Lake County Indiana, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the nursing/caregiver staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the nursing and caregiver staff
• Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Conduct staff training and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills 
• Experience with home care, a plus
