Pay: $35/hour
Position: Full-Time/Part-Time

BrightStar Care is looking for a compassionate LPN to provide personalized care for a 19-month-old with Lesch-Nyan syndrome, a rare condition affecting muscle tone and nutrition. You’ll work closely with the family to ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer g-tube feedings and medication.
• Monitor for aspiration risks during eating and drinking.
• Assist with diaper changes, naps, and general care.
• Apply leg braces and a support vest as needed.
• Keep the child safe and engage in favorite activities (e.g., Disney movies).
• Accompany the family to appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with the child’s pediatric nurse mother.

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• G-tube experience is a plus (training provided).
