Home Healthcare Nurse Manager - Case Manager (Part-Time)

Expected hours: Wednesday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

BrightStar Care is looking for a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team as a Nurse Manager in the Portland area. Nurse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and case managers.
  • Conduct home care assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and patient needs.
  • Perform supervisory home visits to oversee cases and staff.
  • Conduct competency skills checks for caregivers and nurses in our clinical lab.
  • Assist with training, development, and ongoing education programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and State/Federal regulations.
  • Occasionally provide direct care to clients and offer training to field staff both in-home and on-site.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in Oregon.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and graduation from a National League of Nursing accredited program.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience, with at least half of that time in home health or a related healthcare organization.
  • Case management skills required.
  • Experience with adult and senior care.
  • Proven ability to supervise and direct staff.
  • Strong nursing assessment skills.
  • Adherence to professional standards of practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to treat clients, staff, and the public with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Policy development experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Joint Commission standards is desirable.
