We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and compassionate individual to provide backup, IN-HOME child care/babysitting for clients in the Portland metro and surrounding area.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Child Care/Babysitter Requirements:

  • Must have own vehicle
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in childcare involved in kids' daycare establishments, babysitting, and/or after-school childcare programs or
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in childcare and/or babysitting within your home with family or siblings.
  • First aid and CPR certified or eligible to attain this certification prior to the first scheduled shift.
  • Capable of providing written reporting for the kids, children's daily activities to the parents
  • At least 18 years old
  • Any educational experience and/or training in school, individualized nanny experience, summer camp, or pediatric program
  • High school diploma or GED

Child Care/Babysitter Responsibilities:

  • Caring for children from newborn up to18 years of age and providing daily oversight.
  • Needs to be willing to travel, by car or public transportation, to various clients throughout the Portland area.
  • Engage kids with activities and/or programs approved by parents for the child's development
  • Provide an end-of-day report of any activities, exercises, or programs provided for child or children
  • Providing a safe environment and providing essential care (first aid, meals, housekeeping, diapering, toileting, bottle feeding, schoolwork, etc..)
  • Possibly providing care to mildly ill children
