CG CNA 12 HR SHIFTS

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide support for patients with memory care needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Assist in the management of patients with critical care needs or those recovering from medical-surgical procedures.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Support nursing staff in providing care for patients with infectious diseases or specialized needs.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer and dementia clients
• Ability to lift and move patients safely while maintaining proper body mechanics when needed
• Must have a current TB, Physical, CPR
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
