Position Snapshot

  • Status: PRN / As Needed
  • Pay: $50 per visit
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly
  • Location: Amarillo, TX (Home Health)

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the first clinical point of contact for new patients and families
  • Complete pre-admission assessments, evaluating medical needs, safety, and home environment
  • Determine admission eligibility based on physician orders and regulatory standards
  • Develop and update Plans of Care reflecting patient needs and goals
  • Obtain start-of-care orders and all required intake documentation
  • Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide patient and caregiver education that supports safe, successful care at home
  • Deliver skilled nursing care aligned with BrightStar Care standards and Texas regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
  • Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills
  • Comfort working independently with the backing of a supportive local team
