PRN Registered Nurse Evening Home Health Honolulu
50 S Beretania St. Suite C-117A, Honolulu, HI
Per Diem
One visit. Close to home. Usually done by 7.
We’re transitioning an evening case to a new primary nurse, and we’d love that nurse to be someone who lives in or near East Honolulu. If you finish your day and want one meaningful hour of nursing before heading home, keep reading.
The case at a glance
- Visit: About one hour
- Time: Usually 6:00 to 7:00 PM, occasionally 5:00 or 7:00 PM
- Days: At least 4 weekday evenings and 1 weekend evening per week, with backup coverage for nights you’re off
- Location: East Honolulu, near Hawaii Kai, Aina Haina, Kahala, and Kaimuki
- Pay: $55/hr, about $275 a week for five evenings, paid weekly
No OASIS. No Medicare charting. Clean electronic documentation through a straightforward visit-based workflow.
WHY THIS CASE MATTERS
At this stage of care, the same familiar face at the door each evening means a lot to the client and their family. You won’t be a rotating name on a schedule. You’ll be their nurse, and that consistency is a big part of the care itself.
IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?
This case is a great fit if you:
- Work days and want steady supplemental income in the evening
- Live in East Honolulu or close by
- Are retired or semi-retired and want to stay clinically active
- Want to build a real relationship with one client and family
It’s not a fit if you can only cover a night or two here and there.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Administer tube feedings and related care according to the Plan of Care
- Monitor comfort, condition, and tolerance at each visit
- Document each visit and communicate changes to our clinical team
- Offer calm, compassionate support to the client and family
COMPENSATION
- $55.00/hr for this case
- $40.00/hr for orientation and shadow visits
- Weekly pay with direct deposit
