Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Care Clients - Weekend Shifts

Locations: Downtown Chicago primary and surrounding communities

Compensation: $19-$23 per hour
Shifts Available: Weekends ~ 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am - Saturday and Sunday Availability Needed
Positions Available: Part-time 

Skills: Hoyer Lift Skills Required, Gait Belt, Sliding Board, Personal Cares, Compassion and Communication

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care as directed by the nursing supervisor and the client’s care plan
• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Support mobility and transfers using Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, Sit-to-Stand, and other transfer equipment
• Provide specialized care for clients with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators (training or experience required)
• Assist with feeding, meal prep, and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities, when needed
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare hands on experience (home care or facility)
• Proficient with Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, and Sit-to-Stand transfers and willing to provide in home setting
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program
• Active CNA certification in good standing (Illinois)
• CPR certification (required)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Empathetic, dependable, and team-oriented
