Per Diem Wound Care Visit Nurse- RN Home Care

Experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse needed for per diem home care visits in Chicago. 

Pay: $40-$45/Hour

Per Diem: Visits Vary Week by Week, but Flexible Scheduling to fit your work-life balance

Variety of Clients: We've seen a sharp increase in complex wounds in our home care clients. Looking for a nurse to assist with the increased number of visits as well as complexity and help provide education for clients, their families, and other nurses.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties:

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act.
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

Position Requirements 

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in state for which you are applying (Illinois). 
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience with Wound Cares of all complexities. 
• Home Health or Home Care Experience preferred.
• Excellent Documentation and Communication Skills
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Reliable transportation to downtown Chicago
• Clean background and criminal record.
• Cleared TB Test
• CPR Certification
• Cleared Physical to Work
