Service Foreman (Evening Shift Working Foreman)
Department: Service
Reports To: Service Manager
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 11:00pm and Friday 12:00pm to 9:00pm
Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Foreman (Evening Shift Working Foreman) to join our team in Calgary, AB. This leadership role involves overseeing the evening shift operations, ensuring high-quality mechanical repairs and maintenance of both light and heavy-duty trucks and equipment onsite at our clients worksite. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in both light & heavy duty vehicles, excellent supervisory skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with fleet coordinators to schedule fleet vehicles and equipment for maintenance and repairs
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the evening shift mechanics to ensure timely and effective completion of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Perform diagnostic inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Collaborate with client coordinators and management to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.
- Lead efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with supervisory or foreman responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of light and heavy-duty vehicle mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulics.
- Experience with aerial equipment and utility vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Must be a self starter and able to work independently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace health and safety policies.
- Valid Class 3Q driver’s license and any necessary industry certifications are an asset.
- Willingness to work evening shift schedule in Calgary, AB.
