RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system. 
  • Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity for service department. 
  • Ensure proper work is dispatch to the correct skilled technician.. 
  • Review estimate from service advisor and sign off. 
  • Review repair order and make sure it is properly documented after write up. 
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day.
  • Prioritize special order parts, come backs, and new vehicles in the shop work flow. 
  • Ensure technicians follow correct repair procedure, warranty documentation, and punch in and out times. 
  • Refer to warranty labor operation manual to prepare repair order for finalization.
  • Open and close repair orders. 
  • Understands, keeps update of state and federal regulations, and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Assists with safety, housekeeping and OSHA policies and procedures through the service department. 
  • Advises service manager and parts manager of repetitive shortages so that corrective action can be taken. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a dispatcher, service advisor, assistant lane manager, and or service consultant. 
  • Above-average energy level
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
