Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lincoln Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be Manufacturer Certified, with Ford/Lincoln certification preferred. This role involves diagnosing issues, executing repairs to manufacturer specifications, and delivering high-quality service with efficiency and attention to detail.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5 days a week, with Saturday rotation
Pay Structure: Flat-rate

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance listed on work orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC

• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify and identify needed repairs

• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnoses and additional work required

• Provide accurate time estimates for repairs and service completion

• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer guidelines

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

• Stay current on all required Lincoln and Ford service training and bulletins
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Manufacturer certifications preferred; Ford Certification is a plus

• ASE Certifications helpful

• Previous experience at a Ford/Lincoln dealership preferred

• Luxury vehicle experience is a bonus

• B-level technician skills: electrical, engine diagnostics, and repair

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Tech-savvy; comfortable using diagnostic systems and software

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with eagerness to improve

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
