THE ROLE

Our hotel team is seeking an Esthetician to join our team and offer informed recommendations so customers can select appropriate services that suit their needs with ease.

What we will ask of you:

  • Provide facials and body treatments applications
  • Teach makeup lessons
  • Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring schedule
  • Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner
  • Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms and thanking them on departure
  • Interview clients to obtain information about contraindications
  • Examine clients skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
  • Advise clients on skin care
  • Recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens
  • Engage with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests

Requirements for Success:

  • Proven work experience as an Esthetician or similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to develop a plan of action for clients care
  • Ability to make a client feel comfortable
  • Deep knowledge of skin care techniques
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a valid Georgia Esthetician’s license required
  • Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Flexible to work days, nights, holidays and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
  • All Service Professional Leads must be full time at 30 hours average over 8 weeks and be available to work during blackout dates set by the company during the year timeline of events (Maybe subject to change year to year). Medical accommodations can and will be made with proper notice and documentation.
  • *Service leads must maintain open availability weekly and during holidays and weekends.
  • *Service Leads will be paid 25% Commission and 15% Gratuity as well as $15 Hourly Idel pay.
  • *All Service Professional Leads must hold a minimum average over 40% productivity of services vs. hours scheduled. Failure to continue this for an average of 8 weeks may result in Lead professional duties and or compensation to be set at the regular rate of (15% Commission).
  • *All Service Professionals Leads must be able to train other service professionals on services and must be able to partner with the spa manager on menu and protocol updates or changes.
  • *Service professional Leads may have to go with Management to Hiring and Career Events to promote talent coming into our spa. Hourly Rate for Travel and event compensation.
  • *All Service Professional Leads at Rivet House cannot work in competing businesses preforming Massage or Skin Services in the compete with our market. Any possible conflicting employment must be discussed with management before becoming a Lead Service Professional. Failure to follow this may result in termination or change in position and compensation for not following the duties of a being a Service Professional Lead.
  • *All service lead professionals must maintain their license and educational needs to keep their license active and valid.
  • *Service Professional Leads must notify management if there are any complaints, investigations, suspensions on an individual's state license. Failure to do so may results in disciplinary action up to termination.
