Position Summary:

We’re seeking a highly motivated Automotive Parts Manager to lead the setup and operation of our new Kia parts department. This is a unique opportunity to build a department from scratch—managing systems, inventory, personnel, and processes—while having the full support of an experienced leadership team and a trusted family-owned dealership group.

Key Responsibilities:

Department Launch & Leadership:

• Oversee the full setup of the parts department, including layout, equipment, inventory systems, and workflow.

• Work closely with Kia and dealership leadership to ensure a compliant and efficient launch.

Operations & Inventory Management:

• Manage all ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking of Kia OEM and aftermarket parts.

• Maintain balanced inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and ensure parts availability for the service department and retail customers.

• Use Dealertrack for accurate inventory control and reporting.

Team Development:

• Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and customer-focused parts team.

• Foster a productive and positive team environment with clear goals and expectations.

Customer & Internal Support:

• Deliver excellent customer service to retail clients, service advisors, technicians, and wholesale accounts.

• Grow wholesale parts business and develop B2B relationships.

Compliance & Performance:

• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety procedures, and dealership policies.

• Track and report KPIs including fill rates, inventory turnover, and profitability.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of automotive parts experience, with prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with Dealertrack or similar DMS platforms.

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations and inventory practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to efficiency.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
