What You’ll be Accountable for:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and motivate a high-performing, data-driven Product Marketing team.

  • Growth Strategy: Lead cross-sell and upsell strategies to expand business within existing accounts, driving multi-channel demand generation.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with product, engineering, UX, sales, customer success, and operations teams.

  • Product Vision & Roadmap Strategy: Develop and maintain a product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company's mission, address customer needs, and guide product development to meet business goals and market demands.

  • Positioning and Messaging: Shape BigTime’s product positioning and create customer-focused messaging for all stages of the buyer journey.

  • Pricing Strategy: Lead pricing and packaging strategies for multiple product lines.

  • Customer Advocacy: Build a customer advocacy program, creating testimonials, case studies, and stories to highlight customer successes.

  • Voice of the Customer: Establish the team as experts on customer insights and feedback.

  • Campaign Performance: Monitor and optimize upsell and engagement campaign performance through data analysis.

  • Use Case Development: Guide the team in developing compelling use cases for differentiated product positioning.

  • Content Contribution: Support content creation across various formats and channels, including thought leadership and product communications.

  • Be onsite at our downtown Chicago office (near Union Station) 3 times per week.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 5+ years in leadership of a product marketing and/or customer marketing function within a highly matrixed SaaS/tech organization.

  • Ability to translate SaaS product capabilities into compelling customer-focused messaging, with deep understanding of the buyer’s journey and customer personas.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments and developing strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Expert ability to influence senior stakeholders on Product Marketing philosophies, strategies, process management and how cross-team collaboration is successful.

  • Comfortable leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring and interpreting campaign performance data to drive results.

  • Demonstrated record of working cross-functionally to drive sales, demand generation, and overall organization and business success.

  • Expertise in 6sense, HubSpot, and Salesforce and in managing in-app and email campaigns.

Base Salary: $145,000 - $165,000, for candidates based in Chicago, IL

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 - $165,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation such as commission or bonuses.
